Been staying in Phuket Thailand for the last week or so and the first hotel we stayed at had free Wifi in the lobby but not in the room...thought that was weird and complained a bit....assumed this hotel was the only one with such a policy as I have never encountered it before, (havent been to Thailand for a while). Going to the Westin tomorrow, a real swish place and have learned they charge for in room internet as well!!!! AUD$15/day!!! I'm in shock!!
Rest assured EVERY hotel Snowbeds Travel deal with in Hakuba has free Wifi, the Japanese are not stingy like the Thai's who also charge 15 cents to visit the bathroom at many bars.
