Hakuba Happo Ski Resort

26th July, 2011

Happo is the centre-piece of the Hakuba valley and a skiers and boarders paradise. The lifts transport you vertically 1180m up the mountain and it is the biggest ski resort in the area. It also hosted the Downhill in the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics. There is something for all the family here; Long, wide and steep runs of every degree of difficulty.  Mogul runs are a bonus and large parts of many runs are left ungroomed on powder days.  It is also home the the famous "High Cascades Terrain Park" and half-pipe in the Sakka area.
