I went for a drive the other day past all the resorts in Hakuba down to the last one; Cortina. They were all pretty empty too. It was a beautiful sunny day but hardly anyone was about. The world economy means that tourism is down all over the world so what better time to check out a cheap ski holiday in Japan!!
