The Lighto-meter

27th January, 2012

Outside the window of my Hakuba accommodation sits the lighto-meter. It is a round light that this morning was reading about 50 centimetres of fresh snow fallen last night. It is about time frankly...we have only had about 5 metres of snow so far this season...about Europes annual average but that is barely acceptable for Hakuba...we are used to 10 metres a season so I'm very happy to see the lighto-meter is finally registering some real Hakuba powder!!
